Good Lord I am beyond chubby, beyond "I just had a baby", beyond beyond beyond! So I am starting to use myfitnesspal.com to track my calories consumed and used. Anyone want to join this with me? Do it, do it!You can track from your adroid or computer, so no excuses!
Today I met up with a friend I met through Catie's preschool. We had a great walk on the Burke Gilman, hoping next time I can get in a little more jogging and less walking but a start is a start. Lia did great, Jillian freaked out. I couldn't figure out why she was crying so hysterically, until I got home and saw she had the biggest blow out since she was an infant. Ewwwww. Poor baby girl! She's teething, so I'm hoping that is what it's from and not that she is getting sick.
We got some really great and exciting news for our family today! I'm going to keep you in suspense for a little longer, but just know that we are NOT pregnant again.

Working it out
Going to start working out again this month. I CAN NOT believe how much I weigh now, and since I'm getting ready to stop nursing Jillie I can only imagine how much more weight I could gain. Jillian Micheals here I come! Hopefully my knees will hold out. They are super painful lately and make a lovely crunching sound whenever I walk up stairs or bend my knees. Thanks drum corps...
Jillie is getting ready to start walking any day now...any day now...any day now...
Lia was diagnosed as being slightly anemic at her last well-child visit. She's taking iron supp's 3 x's a day to get her iron level up, hopefully this works. I wish I knew what caused her to be anemic, God I hope she's not sick.
Catie is learning to read, kinda. She's really into it lately and I hope she gets the hang of it soon. She's also really into helping me around the house. Today she made toast for breakfast all by herself. So cute! And later, she helped clean up a pee accident that Lia had - pulled off Lia's pants, got a towel down on the floor to dry up the pee and was busy wiping Lia's legs off when I found them. Made up for all the yelling and fighting they were doing while I was busy putting Jillie down for her morning nap. ;)

Home again, home again!
We arrived home last night to a wonderful meal cooked by my sister's mother-in-law. It was so, so nice to be home! Kansas was absolutely a great experience though. It was fabulous getting to meet my cousins kids for the first time. It was crazy how instantly our kids found each other and started to play immediately. We spent most of our time in the pool and just watching the kids running around, so funny to watching them just run and then wrestle.
We were all in Kansas to celebrate our grandma's 90th birthday. I am so proud of my grandma!! She is so smart and still so healthy, I only hope that I can be half as together as she is when I am 90. Shoot, I just hope that I can make it to 90 years!!
The girls are still recovering from our trip. They didn't get much sleep so are now making up for it. Plus with all the bad crappy food on the road their little tummies are feeling much better (at least according to the state of their diapers/toilet habits).
Speaking of toilet habits, Catie is and has been doing really well as for the peeing part but oh my goodness she has still not managed to poo on the potty. What do I do? How do I make her go? It almost seems like she is scared to go and I just don't know why. Anyone have advice??? I'll keep you updated on our progress, or lack of it...

Lia stood alone!
She did it! All by herself! It was amazing and cool, just to see her all of a sudden deciding that she was going to do it. Amazing...seems like she is still so tiny and yet she's growing so darn fast. Hopefully she'll still sit still on my lap this weekend though on our way to Kansas....

Ewww sickness
After finishing an awesome day of wine tasting and good food on Saturday was awakened by a crying Catie at 3 am. Went in and found her crying in a puddle of throw-up. AWESOME! For the next 3 1/2 hours she threw up every 10 - 15 minutes. Poor baby! Thankfully Chad was there to help me and then Dolly came to save the day. Of course, as is inevitable, I got sick too along with Larry. Thank God for great MIL's! Dolly took care of Lia most of the day for me so that I could rest in between bouts of quality bathroom time. Catie started feeling better around 5:00 so that is when we left for home. It's amazing to me how quickly little kids can recover. Catie seems fine now while I am still feeling icky....

Potty Train Day 4
Today to far Catie has peed on the potty three times! Hurrah! This morning she woke with a wet diaper but went for a pee in our bathroom right away. Then downstairs before breakfast and again after I put Lia down for her morning nap. I am so excited! I really hope this continues, but am a little worried about no pooping on the pot yet. Hopefully we will be successful before our big trip to Kansas in two weeks! HOLY COW that would be awesome.

May update
Today was a super day, the start to a really busy weekend. Went garage saleing in the a.m. (is saleing a word? doubt it), then off to Costco and back home for lunch and a quick house cleaning before Dolly and Larry, Lauri and the boys came over for dinner. Yummmmmy bbq pork loin, pasta salad, and strawberry shortcake. Kids could NOT get enough shortcake, but after Colby's episode of vomiting up after porking out on too much shortcake last time we did not over indulge them.
Tomorrow I have to run six miles, go to Drunch with the girls, pick up our race packets for Sunday then on home to Jeff n Jeremy's BBQ. Another BUSY BUSY day! But it doesn't stop there! Oh no! Sunday we get to wake up early at go to the Beat the Bridge race then hurry up and get home to go to Sarah's new house for Nicole's baby shower. Phew! done. done done.
